Watsontown Children's Ministry

We love our kids! We support families with children ages 0-18.

The children in our church have opportunities to play together while growing spiritually, through weekly Sabbath School classes and other activities throughout the year. Our twice-a-year Youth Sabbath features the young people in our worship service, and our VBS program every summer is a hit with kids and parents alike. Safety is a priority, with every children’s ministry volunteer undergoing a background screening at least once every 3 years. Our goal is that every child discovers a love for Jesus as they are nurtured in the fundamental truths of our faith.

Adventurers and Pathfinders Clubs

Our Watsontown Clubs are located at 1319 8th St. Drive, Watsontown, PA 17777. Some of the recent activities and events that we have done in the past two years include: crafts, seed collecting, learning to play the guitar, learning about birds, presenting a musical program which raised money for disaster relief, collecting canned food for the needy, parading, visiting Lake Tobias, visiting T and D’s Cats of the World at Penns Creek, Reptiland, Lewisburg Children’s Museum, first aid and swimming lessons, kayaking and canoeing, camping and camporees in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

The Adventurer Club

The Adventurer Club is a program for young children created by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1972, similar to Brownies and Cub Scouts. Inspired by its "older brother", the Pathfinder Club, the Adventurer Club is a program focused on education of children aged 4–9 years.

The Pathfinder Club

The Pathfinder Club, or simply Pathfinders works specifically with the cultural, social and religious education of children and teens. Boys and Girls 10 years and up are members of the club all over the world. Though similar in many respects to Boy and Girl Scouts, Pathfinders have a stronger Spiritual emphasis on all their activities the Pathfinder Club has been an official component of the Seventh-Day Adventist church's youth ministry since 1950.
The history of Pathfinders dates back to the year 1907.
