On Sabbath, May 10th, the Watsontown Seventh-day Adventist Church dedicated its newest ministry partner, Oscar Sulbaran as Bible Instructor for the church. His wife Marivic and their children Andres and Rebeca were by his side during the dedication. The Sulbarans originally come from Venezuela some eight years ago fleeing the Maduro communist regime where the doctrine of communism was required teaching in all schools. For the past five years he and Marivic were employed by Hartland College in Virginia. Oscar taught practical classes in life skills while Marivic provided accounting services. She continues to work remotely for Hartland College. Andres and Rebeca will be enrolled at Mountain View Christian School for the 2025-26 school year. Oscar is a welcome addition to the growth and development of the church in Watsontown. |
